Terminator Reboot Named TERMINATOR: GENESIS, Still Nothing About Sarah Connor

Like it, or not, but the upcoming Terminator reboot is currently named Terminator: Genesis. At least, that’s the latest rumor about Alan Taylor‘s movie, the first in a stand-alone trilogy that will bring those well-known characters Sarah Connor, Kyle Reese and John Connor back to the game.
And, unfortunately, that’s pretty much all we know about the Paramount Pictures’ project at this moment. As you already see from our title, the biggest question (still) is – who will come on board to play a younger version of the legendary Linda Hamilton character in the new movie.
According to the latest reports, the production is concentrating on casting Sarah before any of the other roles, and (apparently) Brie Larson and Emilia Clarke are the frontrunners for that role.
Anyway, hope we’ll soon have more updates to share, but in the meanwhile let us remind you that Taylor will direct the whole thing from a script written by Laeta Kalorgridis and Patrick Lussier, and that the movie is already set to hit theaters on July 1st, 2015.
With every new update on Terminator reboot we’ll be back, so make sure you stay tuned!
