New POMPEII Trailer Has Arrived

Here comes a brand new action-packed trailer for Paul W. S. Anderson‘s action adventure Pompeii, which is set to hit theaters in two months. Starring Kit Harington, Emily Browning, and Kiefer Sutherland in lead roles, the movie will tell us an epic story of a slave turned gladiator who finds himself in a race against time to save his true love. Head inside to check him out… As we previously reported, the story is set in 79 A.D., and follows a slave turned invincible gladiator named Milo, played by Harington, who is in love with the beautiful daughter of a wealthy merchant Cassia, played by Browning. And here’s the rest of the plot:

Milo’s true love has been unwillingly betrothed to a corrupt Roman Senator, and as Mount Vesuvius erupts in a torrent of blazing lava, Milo must fight his way out of the arena in order to save his beloved as the once magnificent Pompeii crumbles around him.

Beside the above mentioned trio, the rest of the cast includes Carrie-Anne Moss, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Paz Vega, Jessica Lucas and Jared Harris, and the movie is set to hit theaters on February 21st, 2014.
