Here comes a brand new (and pretty violent) trailer for
Gary Fleder‘s upcoming action thriller
Homefront, which opens next month. Starring
Jason Statham and
James Franco, the movie will tell us the story of a former DEA agent who moves his family to a quiet town, but he soon tangles with a local meth druglord. Head inside to see what that looks like…
Fleder directed the whole thing from a script written by
Sylvester Stallone, but I’m sure you already know that the movie is actually based on
Chuck Logan‘s novel of the same.
It revolves around Statham’s character, a low-level DEA agent named Phil Broker whose quiet family life is turned upside down when his path crosses with a band of drug traffickers, led by a meth kingpin named Gator, played by Franco.

Also starring
Winona Ryder,
Kate Bosworth,
Frank Gillo and young
Izabela Vidovic as Statham’s daughter,
Homefront is set to hit theaters on November 27th, 2013.
So, any thoughts?
