Another New THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG Poster

Tolkien’s novel “The Hobbit,” The Desolation of Smaug is the second part in a trilogy of Middle-Earth movies from director Peter Jackson. The story continues the adventure of Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on a quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
