BLACK NATIVITY Reveals New Trailer & Poster

Kasi Lemmons’ holiday musical Black Nativity is set to hit theaters this November, so quite logical – we’re back to share a brand new trailer and poster for the whole thing. In case you forgot, Forest Whitaker, Angela Bassett and Jennifer Hudson star in this inspirational drama, so what else can you wish for? Head inside to check them out… Written and directed by Lemmons, the movie is a contemporary adaptation of Langston Hughes‘ celebrated play of the same name, and revolves around a street-wise teen from Baltimore who has been raised by a single mother. He travels to New York City to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged relatives, where he embarks on a surprising and inspirational journey. Unwilling to live by the imposing Reverend Cobbs’ rules, a frustrated Langston is determined to return home to his mother, Naima.
