THE FORGER Adds Abigail Spencer, Jennifer Ehle, Anson Mount & Marcus Thomas

Abigail Spencer, Jennifer Ehle, Anson Mount and Marcus Thomas have joined the cast of The Forger. They will join previously announced John Travolta, Christopher Plummer and Tye Sheridan in the heist film, which comes from director Philip Martin and follows a thief who buys his way out of prison to spend time with his ailing son. Head inside to find more details… Martin directs the movie from a script written by Richard D’Ovidio, which tells the story of a former child art prodigy and second generation petty thief, Ray Cutter who arranges to buy his way out of prison to spend time with his ailing son, Will Cutter. But Ray and his father, Joseph Cutter, must come together to carry out one last big job for the syndicate who financed his early release. Not hard to guess that Travolta is on board to play the above mentioned thief Ray, Sheridan is set to star as his son Will, while Plummer portrays Ray’s father Joseph. As for the new cast, Ehle will star as Kim, Ray’s emotionally fragile ex-wife, with Mount cast as Keating, a member of the syndicate who creates trouble for Ray. Spencer will play Paisley, a DEA agent and Thomas will play Ray’s long time friend and wingman named Carl. Al Corley, Bart Rosenblatt, and Eugene Musso will produce The Forger along with Rob Carliner, while Jonathan Dana and Randi Michel will executive produce alongside The Solution’s Myles Nestel and Lisa Wilson. Anson Downes and Linda Favila will serve as co-executive producers.
