TRANSCENDENCE: First Look At Johnny Depp

A few days ago we shared the official synopsis for Transcendence, an upcoming sci-fi thriller starring Johnny Depp, Rebecca Hall, and Morgan Freeman; today we’re back to add the very first images from the whole thing. Nothing spectacular, but as you’re about to see, it definitely shows that Wally Pfister (known for his cinematography on the Christopher Nolan films) stands behind the project. Set to open on April 18th, 2014, the movie revolves around two computer scientists who work toward their goal of Technological Singularity. On the other hand, a radical anti-technology organization fights against Depp’s Dr. Will Caster, his wife Evelyn, played by Hall, and their friend Max Waters (played by Paul Bettany) to prevent them from creating a world where computers can transcend the abilities of the human brain. Beside the above mentioned trio, the rest of the cast includes Kate Mara, Cillian Murphy and Clifton Collins Jr. Let us know what you think about these images (via EW) and stay tuned for more updates!
