Here comes an official trailer for Tracks, an upcoming adventure drama starring Mia Wasikowska and Adam Driver in leading roles. Based on the inspirational and iconic true story of Robyn Davidson, the movie revolves around a young woman who goes on a 1,700 mile trek across the deserts of West Australia with her four camels and faithful dog. Head inside to check her out… Director John Curran stands behind this adaptation of Robyn Davidson‘s 1980 memoir which, as we said, chronicles the author’s nine-month journey on camels across the Australian desert. Wasikowska stars as Robyn Davidson, while Driver plays charismatic young New Yorker and National Geographic photographer Rick Smolan who travelled from the other end of the earth to capture, at intervals, this epic and remarkable journey into one of the world’s last great wildernesses. Robyn reluctantly agreed to a visiting photographer in return for much needed trip funding and could only see Rick’s visits as intruding on her solitude and compromising everything the journey meant to her.
