Michelle Monaghan to Star in HBO’s Sexuality Drama OPEN

Michelle Monaghan has joined the cast of HBO’s upcoming pilot Open – Wes Bentley, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Scott Speedman and Anna Torv. She joins the project’s four other central characters: Speedman (Jonathan), Bentley (Evan), Torv (Windsor) and Leigh (Holly). Monaghan will play the role of Grace in the story that will explore human sexuality and relationships. Her character is described as a successful gynecologist recently engaged to Speedman’s character. The hypersexual HBO drama comes from co-creators, Glee’s Ryan Murphy and Dexter’s Lauren Gussis Principal photography is set to begin in early 2014. Monaghan will be no stranger to HBO viewers. She can be seen in another HBO television project , “True Detective” with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, set to air in January 2014.
