Gal Gadot Is Wonder Woman In BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Movie

Yep, as you already see from our title, Gal Gadot is set to play Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman Vs. Superman movie, which is currently set to hit theaters on July 17th, 2015. Not much is known about Zack Snyder‘s follow-up to Man of Steel, except that Henry Cavill is on board to reprise his role as Superman, while Ben Affleck is set to play Batman. But for Gadot, who has appeared in supporting roles in the last three Fast & Furious movies, this definitely sounds like a great chance. I mean, who could say no to a heroine who is fighting for justice, love, peace and sexual equality? Or, as Snyder said in his statement:

Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.

Anyway, let us remind you that Snyder will direct the whole thing from a script he co-wrote with David S. Goyer, and that, beside the above mentioned names, the movie will also star Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne. Snyder and Goyer are bringing together the two greatest Super Heroes of all time for the first time on the big screen, so yes – we’re definitely interested in more details!
