CARRIE Remake Will Be R-Rated, Reveals New TV Spot

Kimberly Peirce‘s upcoming Carrie remake has just received an R rating, and that’s exactly what you’re going to see from a brand new TV spot for the whole thing! Surprised or not, but this rating goes perfectly with bloody violence, disturbing images, language and some sexual content. Head inside to find the video & let us know what you think! As usual, we will once again remind you that the movie is based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King, and stars Chloe Moretz as the titular Carrie White, a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother. She unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom, and it looks like this: Beside Moretz, the rest of Carrie cast includes Julianne Moore, Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Gabriella Wilde and Ansel Elgort, and the movie is set to hit theaters on October 18th, 2013.
