10 New THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG Posters

The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug has released 10 new posters online. The next installment of Peter Jackson’s THE HOBBIT trilogy will see Thorin Oakenshield leading his people to where the sleeping dragon Smaug resides. They encounter along the way the skin-changer Beorn and a swarm of giant Spiders in the treacherous forest of Mirkwood. The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug will open in theaters on December 13th, 2013.

The second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien, “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
